Description: 

Under the supervision of licensed personnel, provides general clerical duties according to Shannon Medical Center Standards of Care, policies and procedures. The Unit Secretary has both team member and clerical responsibilities that require judgments, accountability and follow through. Candidate must be able to accept delegation, communicate effectively and confidentiality, record accurate information, demonstrate flexibility and maintain a safe environment by completing all unit related services.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

 

High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Clerical experience and experience with an online computer terminal is preferred.
